This song conveys the story of Katherine Switzer, the first woman to run a marathon--only at the time, women weren't allowed to participate. She entered anyway, and encountered drama along the way when the race director spotted her and tried to physically force her out of the race. Switzer's companion wrestled him away, and Ms. Switzer went on to finish the race. Although it took 5 additional years to welcome women, Switzer paved the way for women in running, and helped to advance women's rights.

Wow it's been a loooong time since I've been this excited about a prog album. PoiL and Ni are great bands in their own rights, but this project is so much more than the sum of its parts. I've not heard anything else quite like it, it's never boring. If I didn't know better I'd think these dudes are all actual wizards, especially with that band photo. 11/10 strongly recommended. sky · ghost
A deluxe, expanded reissue of the Chicago band's 2020 album includes remixes and live cuts of their twitchy post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 29, 2021
An endearingly-weird, synth-spiked new album from the Chicago indie-rockers, with partial proceeds benefitting mental health advocacy. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 5, 2020
Mind and heart expanding avant-prog that's creatively off the charts but ultra catchy as well. The musicianship is excellent but never overshadows the joy it sounds like everyone had while creating this awesome album. Can't wait for Part 2! Thomas Gelfer
